In the heart of Modica
I Monili was born as a small watchmaking workshop founded by Gaspare Aprile in the 1930s.
Today, our family handed down the family tradition as a jewelry and watch shop, also offering assistance and repair services for watches.
In 1960, Gaspare's son Salvatore followed in his father's footsteps by starting to deal with watches and jewelry in his Modica workshop.
In 1994, his nephew Gaspare and his wife Concetta, driven by their passion for watches and jewels, realized their dream by founding a new jewelry store: "I Monili Aprile".
Gabriele Aprile is the family member who kept the family passion alive by studying watchmaking. Today it deals with offering assistance for April jewelry: repairs, restoration, maintenance of watches and much more.
Watches and jewelery have been part of our family for decades. Our passion has been handed down from father to son over the last century. Gaspare and Concetta still work in our store in Modica together with their children, Salvatore and Gabriele.
